Halal-certified Chinese breakfast in Semenyih
At Canton Boy Eco Majestic, every dim sum basket and cup of Hainanese coffee is prepared in a JAKIM Halal-certified kitchen — so you can dine in peace and savour your morning with confidence.
Perhaps the only halal Chinese breakfast in Semenyih serving dim sum
Let’s be honest – Semenyih’s breakfast scene has been pretty predictable. You’ve got your Western-style cafes serving the same avocado toast and eggs Benedict. You’ve got Malay warungs with nasi lemak and kuih. And you’ve got the old-school kopitiams that aren’t halal. All good options, but what if you want something different?
That’s where we come in. Canton Boy at Eco Majestic is Semenyih’s perhaps first and only halal-certified Chinese restaurant, and we’re changing what breakfast looks like around here. We’re talking steaming bamboo baskets filled with Siu Mai and Har Gao. Plates of crispy-skinned roasted chicken with fragrant rice. Bowls of silky congee that warm you from the inside out. All made fresh, all JAKIM halal-certified, all available from 8 AM on weekends.

The dim sum here in Semenyih is honestly top-notch – everything tastes freshly made, from the siu mai to the steamed buns. The Hainanese coffee is smooth and strong, just the way I like it. I really appreciate that it’s Halal-certified, so I can enjoy authentic Chinese breakfast with my whole family. Highly recommended for anyone around Eco Majestic!

Canton Boy in Eco Majestic has become my go-to breakfast spot. The har gow and chicken rice are excellent – full of flavour and served hot every time. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the staff are always polite. The place feels bright and welcoming, perfect for weekend mornings.

Finally, a proper breakfast place in Semenyih that ticks all the boxes! The dim sum selection is great, especially the char siu buns and egg tarts. The atmosphere is spacious and comfortable, even during busy hours. You can really taste the effort they put into every dish – it’s my favourite spot to start the day now.
After the hike, before the day begins - or just another good morning in Eco Majestic
If you’ve ever hiked Broga Hill, you know the routine – the early alarm, the sunrise view, the hunger that hits right after. For years, options were limited: drive back to Kajang, grab fast food, or settle for something quick in town.
Now there’s Canton Boy Eco Majestic, less than ten minutes from the Broga trailhead and right in the heart of Semenyih’s most vibrant community. Whether you’re a hiker fresh off the trail or a neighbour from Eco Majestic starting your weekend, we’re open from 8 AM with air-conditioning, comfy seating, and food that feels just right.
